Why Bamboo Over Palm Leaf?

Most Bamboo plates sold today are actually made from fallen Areca palm tree leaves, which are subsequently cleaned, dried and then molded. Our Bamboo plates however, are made from 100% genuine Bamboo. The process of making bamboo disposable plates involves cleaning the sheaths, boiling, pressing and bonding them together using eco-friendly glue.

Health - Bamboo reportedly contains an antimicrobial bio-agent called “bamboo kun” which is found naturally in living bamboo fiber. This makes bamboo plates naturally antibacterial, anti-fungal and odor resistant.
